(1). The £7,500 grant refers to the UK Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), which is available to eligible homeowners in England and Wales. Eligibility: To qualify, you must own the property, be replacing an existing fossil fuel heating system (such as oil, gas, or electric resistance), and have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) with no outstanding recommendations for loft or cavity wall insulation. Application: Aira will apply for the grant on your behalf; however, the grant is subject to Ofgem approval and government funding availability. The grant value is deducted from the final invoice. Exclusions: The scheme is not available for social housing or new-build properties (except self-builds).
